About the Artist

Biography

Elizabeth’s love of the ocean and travel have culminated into art inspired by the beauty of nature and a strong desire to protect our planet.  Along with her artistic companion Jortee, they comb the shorelines, waterways and nature trails collecting trash. During these nature walks they occasionally spot “discarded treasures” among the trash that can be incorporated in her fascinating original art designs.   In addition to discarded items collected on her nature walks, local restaurants contribute their oyster, clam, cockle and mussel shells, bar bottles and broken glass to Elizabeth's preserve the planet purpose.

Originally from central Alabama, she now makes Delaware and Florida her home.  Elizabeth reflects on her decision to Live the Dream of sharing her artwork with others.  “After decades of serving for profit and not-for -profit business entities with their financial reporting and taxation needs, I made the decision to semi-retire from Public Accounting and spend quality time on projects that bolster my aspiration to help restore the earth to its rightful cleanliness.

I am fortunate to have opportunities to extensively travel the United States, Caribbean and Eastern Europe, and now I have time to share my travel inspired artwork and jewelry with others."

"I embrace the opportunity to contribute to the preservation of our planet one piece of artwork at a time."
